I am very excited to find your website via an article I found as part of my research for a research proposal that is part of my graduate studies. The article is in Nursing Economics, Nov.-Dec. 2010 by Kathy Douglas, MHA, RN. The EIS Whte Paper will also serve as one of my references. My research question is:

What are the effects of nurse to patient staffing ratios on psychiatric patient incidence of violence?

Kathy I am in need of some information on shift bidding.  I work at a level 1 trauma center in Richmond Va and would like to introduce this concept to my peers.
