The Red Carpet was (literally) rolled out for thousands of Critical Nurses at the AACN NTI Conference in Boston last week. What an amazing opportunity to have thousands of nurses watching this film all together, you could feel the passion for nursing in the room!

Employees at The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) had the opportunity to see the new film "NURSES If Florence Could See Us Now" and to speak with the films Director. "It is such an honor to share our film with CMS" said Kathy Douglas, film director "One of the goals we set for making this film is to expand the understanding of nursing among healthcare leaders and policy makers. This event was part of achieving that goal."

The film is being screened by hospitals and professional organizations across the U.S. in celebration of National Nurses Week, May 6 - 12, 2013 as a way to highlight and show appreciation for the extraordinary work nurses do everyday.
